DESCRIPTION:What is This Event For?\nDon’t leave your sensitive data on the curb! Electronic Asset Security has partnered with the City of Urbandale to benefit its residents with easy electronics recycling! All electronics will be securely recycled by Electronic Asset Security\, Iowa’s ONLY R2v3 certified electronics recycler\, based in Urbandale. \nWhat Can We Bring?\nBasically\, we accept anything electronic that isn’t an appliance. Please see the Events Page for more details on what is or isn’t accepted. \nHow Much Does This Cost?\nMOST electronics are free to recycle. The only exceptions are CRTs\, TVs\, printers\, cartridges\, and certain batteries. We have a complete pricing list HERE. \n-CRT monitor or TV less than 19” diagonally – $15.00 \n-CRT monitor or TV 20” to 27” diagonally – $20.00 \n-CRT monitor or TV greater than 27” diagonally – $30.00 \n-LCD or Plasma Television (any size) – $20.00 \n-Rear Projection or Console TVs – $40.00 \n-Consumer Desktop Printer (inkjet\, small laser\, plastic) – $5.00 ea. \n-Business Desktop Printer (larger B&W or Color Laser) – $10.00 ea. \n-Business Floor-Standing Printer/Copier – $25.00 ea. \n-Ink or Toner Cartridges (in or out of printer) – $1 ea. \n-Lead Acid Batteries – $0.25 per lb. \n-Power Tool or LiPo Batteries – $2.00 ea. \n-Sorted Alkaline\, NiCd\, NiMh – $2.50 per lb. \n-Mixed Chemistry\, Lithium Primary\, Button Cell – $10.00 per lb \n-DDR Batteries (Swollen\, in or out of device) – $5 ea. \nIf you require a certificate of destruction (legal proof of destruction)\, we can provide one for $10. However\, a certificate is not generally necessary for home users. You can still rest easy since ALL data-containing devices are securely wiped or crushed before leaving the facility\, regardless of whether you paid for a certificate. \nCash or Credit Card Accepted. \nIs this Secure?\nYes!
