We pick up anywhere in Iowa, and you get a record you can hand to an auditor.
- We also go to the surrounding states, and we use our own trucks.
- Every data-bearing device gets its own line on the certificate, with the serial number and how we destroyed it.
- Everything else goes to our R2v3-certified facility in Urbandale, where we recycle it or resell it.

What we pick up
Old computers and servers, network gear, the hard drives piling up in a closet, tape, and boxes of CDs and DVDs. You don’t need an exact count, and we’ll pick up anything from a box or two to a truckload.
What happens after you send the form
You tell us what you have.
The form asks what kind of equipment it is and roughly how much.
The office calls you.
We go over what you have, then send the date, the arrival window, and the price (if applicable) in writing.
The truck comes.
It shows up on the day you agreed to. Our drivers are our own employees, and we background-check each one.
The certificate arrives.
It comes after we’ve destroyed the drives, and it’s the record you keep for an audit.
Questions we get on most calls
Do the drives have to be out of the machines?
No, you can leave them in. We pull the drives, log each serial number, and destroy them. If you’ve already pulled them, you can hand the box to us.
Can we watch?
Yes. Ask for mobile shredding when the office calls, and we’ll shred the drives in your parking lot before we leave.
What if our items have no serial numbers?
We count CDs, DVDs, and unserialized tape instead of serializing them, so the certificate lists a quantity. Anything with a serial number gets its own line.
